Karissa was born and raised in Santa Cruz, CA alongside the Pacific Ocean and the towering Redwood trees. She studied Graphic Design & Marketing and received her BA from San Diego State University. She started her career in Southern California before moving to Bend, OR with her husband in 2021. She classifies herself as a typography nerd, animal lover, avid reader, dancer, and outdoor enthusiast.

What are you passionate about?
Design, continued learning, sustainability, and treating all humans and the planet with kindness.
What’s on your bucket list?
I would love to country hop across Europe, as I’ve only traveled to Italy, France, and Ireland so far. It would also be a dream to witness the Northern lights in Iceland!
What is your favorite place to have visited?
After college, I got to visit New Zealand and I absolutely loved it! Genuine people, rich culture, great food, and breathtaking landscapes – what more could you ask for!
