She grew up outside of New York City in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, and started working in experiential education as a kayaking leader with JHU Outdoor Pursuits. Her experiences studying abroad in Denmark, Costa Rica, and Nepal inspired her to take a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship in Argentina after graduate school. Since then she’s been working as an educator leading environment and conservation-focused trips in the U.S. and Latin America for organizations such as Rustic Pathways, Ecology Project International, Visions Service Adventures, and NatureBridge.

Some of her favorite activities are running, reading, hiking, petting dogs, eating dessert, dancing, and spending time with friends and family.
