Grace Crema

Grace is from Long Island, New York, where she grew up on the ocean, surfing and learning about marine life. Her early travels exposed her to different cultures and sparked a passion for hands-on, experiential learning. In high school, she took part in ARCC programs in Vietnam, Cambodia, and India, which inspired her interest in experiential education.

She went on to study Communications, Anthropology, and International Studies at SUNY Cortland. During college, she led backcountry canoe trips in the Adirondacks and studied abroad in Egypt. Since then, she has traveled to over 40 countries across six continents and has led programs around the world.

Grace now works as a high school substitute teacher while earning her graduate degree in Social Studies Education (Grades 7–12) at SUNY Old Westbury. She’s passionate about sharing the histories, environments, and cultures that make the world unique and hopes to continue educating others throughout her career.
