James is a native of New Hampshire and proud Military Veteran with a degree in Recreation Management from the University of New Hampshire. Growing up in a small rural town, James developed an early appreciation for nature, a sentiment that eventually led him to Wyoming in 2015, where he sought a lifestyle centered around skiing, hiking, climbing, and other outdoor pursuits. Recently immersing himself in white water rafting, James continually seeks to broaden his outdoor experiences. He spent three years living in a customized RAM Promaster van, traversing California while climbing and contributing to an outdoor education organization.
Favorite place
The list of my favorite places is tough to narrow to just one. Some favorite places I have been include spending 10 days in the Alaskan Backcountry, rock climbing in Cuba, and exploring Yosemite National Park. The White Mountains of New Hampshire will always hold a special place in my heart.
Bucket List
Skiing in Japan!! Hiking the Pacific Crest Trail or Appalachian Trail. Stargazing at the Paranal Observatory in Chile
Passionate about
I am passionate about developing leadership skills and the journey towards self-improvement. I enjoy guiding students to realize their own potential and doing more than they think is possible. Nothing is better than seeing that look in a student’s eye when they realize they are capable of anything or overcoming a fear. We can accomplish more than we think with some commitment and effort.
