Ethan hails from New Jersey, but his love for environmental sustainability and experiential education began during a junior year semester at the Mountain School in Vermont. He continued to explore these interests and to feed his travel bug in Cape Town, South Africa where he worked at a public health NGO doing advocacy and education in the townships; through an outdoor leadership and mountaineering semester with NOLS in Tanzania, that concluded with a summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro; and through backpacking trips across Sub-Saharan Africa for three months, Thailand, Nicaragua, Cuba, and Ireland. Ethan has spent his past two summers working for Wilderness Adventures leading expeditions in Alaska and Grand Teton National Park, and spent this past year living and working in Hong Kong and China as an outdoor and environmental educator. During this time he explored Korea, Cambodia, Laos, India, Nepal, and China! When not working or traveling, Ethan loves getting outside, bingeing terrible rom-coms, and looking at beautiful houses on real estate websites.
