Originally from Northern California, Izzy has spent the last decade leading outdoor adventures and educational programs across the globe. While she serves as the Operations Director for our sister program, Bold Earth, she also brings her extensive expertise to ARCC’s global programs. Izzy’s extensive history with our community includes leading ARCC Gap semesters and several custom programs. Her leadership resume spans Hawaii, the Alps, South Korea, China, Costa Rica, South Africa, Australia, Chile, and Hong Kong. Izzy remains passionate about this work because she “adores the communities we create, both with staff and students.” Despite her global travels, her heart remains in Northern California. Proud moments for Izzy range from trekking New Zealand’s Great Walks with her 80-year-old grandmother to winning a corn dog-eating contest. A Wilderness First Responder and Lifeguard, Izzy has been a pillar of the Bold Earth and ARCC family for 10 years.
