Staffing and Custom Programs Manager

Growing up in Keystone, Colorado, Kayla cultivated a deep love for the mountains and an ever-evolving curiosity for animals, travel, and adventure. Today, she serves as the Staffing and Customs Program Manager for both ARCC and Bold Earth, where she oversees the hiring process for our incredible leaders and supports our custom school programs.

Kayla holds a BA in Animal Studies from Eckerd College and recently completed her Master of Science in Biology, specializing in snake behavior and welfare. Her professional background is rooted in the field; she spent years as an outdoor educator for the Keystone Science School and has guided students through the forests of Colorado and beyond.

Her personal travel highlights include study-abroad homestays in Spain and extensive expeditions through Tanzania, Vietnam, Guatemala, and the Caribbean. When she isn’t in the office or hiring our next incredible leader, you’ll find Kayla outside observing local wildlife, reading, or practicing yoga. A lifelong outdoor enthusiast, Kayla is a trained Wilderness First Responder, Lifeguard, and PADI Rescue Diver.
