Maycie is originally from Iowa where she spent every summer at Girl Scout camp developing her love of nature and outdoor recreation. In 2022, she moved to Oregon to attend Southern Oregon University where she received her Masters in Outdoor Adventure and Expedition Leadership. She has led all kinds of adventures across the United States, but her favorite place to revisit is always Grand Tetons National Park. Regardless of location, she loves any activity on or in the water, especially canoeing and sea kayaking! Maycie also loves a compelling book, a rainy day hike, and playing card games.
