Adriana’s love for teaching and education began in the tenth grade in an Algebra class where a teacher uncovered in Adriana a gift of teaching. After graduating from Penn State University with a degree in secondary education and math, Adriana worked for a variety of educational organizations including Bold Earth Adventures, High Trails Outdoor Science School, and Galileo Learning. She then moved into the classroom where she spent five years teaching at a private Jewish Day School. Missing the hands-on aspect of education beyond the classroom walls, Adriana joined ARCC in 2017 and has led six programs since then. A fun fact about Adriana is that she has hiked 2,800 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail.
